Festivals - The Abersoch Jazz Festival - 10th and 11th June 2011 - To celebrate our tenth Anniversary and our local talent there will be a performance in Abersoch Village Hall, Wednesday June 8th, 7.00pm to 9.30pm, entry free, to showcase young people and the arts from dance and song to recitation; and music from jazz and rap/beat box to traditional Welsh harp. As a jazz lover why not combine your enjoyment of all the festival has to offer by staying at Wern Fawr Manor Farm, which is only 3 miles from Abersoch.

To find out more visit their web site: www.abersoch.co.uk/jazzfestival

The Voluntary Abersoch Jazz Festival Committee apologise, to all our friends and jazzers, as they have had to make the difficult decision to 'take a break' in 2012. We are faced with the impossible, logistical situation caused by the dates for the Late May Bank Holiday and the Queen's diamond Jubilee Celebrations having been moved to our traditional June week in the jazz calendar year. This, combined with the London Olympics 2012 in the summer and our experiences of the negative effect on our attendance, accommodation and finances caused by the football world cup, has left us with no alternative but to abandon next year's festival.

A great setting that plays host to some of the industries leading bands & DJ's, who have been part of previous Wakestock line-ups. Why not stay at Wern Fawr Manor Farm, which is only a stone's throw away from Penrhos across the fields.
